Hilda L. Anderson, 85, a native and resident of Schriever, La., died Sunday, March 29, in Glendale, Ca., at 10:12 a.m.

She is survived by her son, Marvin Anderson Jr.; daughter Marva Anderson Brannum; step-daughters, Mary Ann Wynn and Marvie Norfor; step-son, Louis Anderson; granddaughter, Toi Anderson; and grandson, Toren Anderson.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Livas Sr. and Eva Rounds Livas; brother, Henry Livas Jr.; and sister, Lillie Mae Franklin.

She was a retired teacher with the Terrebonne Parish School Board and was a past secretary at Magnolia United Methodist Church. She was a member of Rebecca Chapter #23 O.E.S. and a member of Magnolia United Methodist Church

Funeral services were Saturday, April 4, at Magnolia United Methodist Church on Johnson Ridge with burial at Livas Cemetery.

Community Funeral Home of Houma, La., and Woods Valentine Morturary in Pasadena, Ca., are in charge of the arrangements.
