Hope Benoit Becnel, 54, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Saturday, July 11.
She is survived by her husband, Karl Becnel; mother, Marcella Benoit; two sons, Jason and wife Bernadette Good, and Jeffrey and wife Amy Bergeron Good; one daughter, Ashley Becnel; one brother, Robert Benoit and wife Marilyn Benoit; one sister, Faith Sanders and husband Henry Sanders; four grandchildren, Allie and Dillon Good, and Seth and Kate Bergeron; one godchild, Megan Sanders; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russel Benoit.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, July 14, at Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 15, at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
