Horace Anthony Folse, 81, a native and resident of Raceland, LA., died at 8:40 a.m. Saturday, April 14, 2007.


Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at Falgout Funeral Home in Raceland. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church in Raceland. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Ella Jean Pittman Folse; three sons, Frederick Folse and wife, Lois, Kermit Folse and Kevin Folse and wife, Melanie; one daughter, Betty Guilbeau and husband, Percy; one brother, Agney Folse; one sister, Agnes LeCompte; eight grandchildren, Danette LeBlanc, Kelly Lavasseur, Suzanne Manley, Troy Folse, Brian Folse, Jamie Folse, Katie Folse and Ryan Folse; and six great-grandchildren, Alexis LeBlanc, Lauren LeBlanc, Jeanne LeBlanc, Trent Lavasseur, Elizabeth Lavasseur and Trevor Folse.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Josephine Boudoin Folse; one brother, Hampton Folse; and one great-grandchild, Jonathan LeBlanc.

He was a parishioner of St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Church.

He loved gardening and his grandchildren.

Falgout Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
