Hubert “BaBa” Martin, 99, a native of Leeville, La., and resident of Lockport, La., died Friday, Jan. 31, 2014.
Mr. Martin was a carpenter who loved his work, enjoyed spending time with his family and gave himself unselfishly to anyone in need.
He is survived by his daughter, Thelma (Wilson) Aucoin; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 23 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 12:30 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, La., with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
