Huey “Punkin” White Sr., 34, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Tuesday, Oct. 20.
He is survived by his wife, Ieshia T. White; father, Huey P. Lyons; one son, Huey Falon White Jr.; three daughters, India Bowens, Paulena Hueyiana and Titean’a White; one sister, Cathy Percy of Houma; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Pauline White Lyons; and grandparent, Dorothy Lyons.
He was Baptist and a member of New Zion Baptist Church. He was employed by F.A.S.Trucking Company.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 25, at Community Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 26, at New Zion Baptist Church. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church with burial at Deweyville Cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
