Huey R. “Frenchy” Falgoust, 77, a native of Vacherie, La., and resident of Des Allemands, La., died at 12:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, 2012.
Mr. Falgoust was a member of Bayou Blue Assembly of God. He was a sergeant in the U.S. Marine Corps and a member of the American Legion and Lions Club. He enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and was an avid reader.
He is survived by his wife, Lou Sparks; sons, Keith, Robert and Timothy Falgoust; daughters, Robin (Mickey) Adams, Roberta (Gilbert Jr.) Comardelle and Monica Falgoust; sisters, Leanna Kraemer, Cheryl (Ricky) Tregre and Ericka (Bert) Schaubhut; stepsons, Jamie, Todd, Glenn and Marty Foret; stepdaughters, Karen (Gerald) Breaux, Shirley Hendon and Barbara Rushing; five grandchildren; and numerous step-grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wives, Adeline Falgoust and Sylvia Falgoust; parents, Edmond and Agatha Falgoust; and sister, Laura Fonseca.
Burial was at Sunset Cemetery in Bayou Gauche, La. (Samart)
