Ima Malbrough Remel, 74, a native of Baton Rouge, La., and resident of Bourg, La., died Monday, Feb. 21, 2011.
Mrs. Remel was a parishioner of St. Ann Catholic Church. She was retired from the Terrebonne Parish School Board. She was an active parishioner and volunteer of St. Ann Catholic Church and a member of the Terrebonne Parish Recreation Board.
She is survived by her son, Rhett (Theresa) Remel; daughter, Rhonda (Lynwood) Fatchett; four grandchildren, Travis Fatchett, Leland Crochet III, and Jacob and Lindsey Remel; and two great-grandchildren, Trey and Jenna Fatchett.
She was preceded in death by her spouse, Rosney Remel Jr.; and parents, Maurice and Lela Cockerham Malbrough.
She is buried at St. Ann Catholic Church Cemetery. (Chauvin)
