Irene Matte Courville
Irene Matte “Mom-Net” Courville, 84, a resident of Morgan City, La., died Friday, March 30, 2012.
Mrs. Courville was the most amazing lady that anyone would have had the honor of knowing. She was a wonderful cook and was at her best when it came time for Sunday lunch after mass. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Priscilla Bellard, Judy (Tommy) Morrissey, Janice (Lance) Rayne, Denise (Dwight) Goodman, Becky (David) Vining and Annette (Allen) McNemar; brother, C.J (Bertha) Matte; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Courville; parents, Willis and Orelia Matte; daughter, JoAnne Courville; grandson, Ross McNemar; and sisters, Aline and Cecile Matte.
Interment was at Morgan City Mausoleum. (Hargrave)
