James Paul Loupe
James “Jimmy” Paul Loupe, 81, a native and resident of Morgan City, La., died Saturday, March 24, 2012.
Mr. Loupe was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. He was a hard worker and owned Loupe Brothers Shell Station for over 25 years. He enjoyed making rosaries for the Confraternity of Our Lady Star of the Sea.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Verlie Loupe; daughters, Darlene (Howard) Castay, Diane (Dan) Irwin, Angela (Larry Sr.) Rapp and Catherine (Chip) Cali; brother, Donald (Karen) Loupe; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lionel and Louise Loupe.
Burial was at Morgan City Cemetery. (Hargrave)
