Irene Pitre Triche, 92, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Tuesday, November 11, at 4:15 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Collin Triche Sr. and wife Jeanette, and Clarence R. Triche and wife Rosita; daughter, Gayle Duet and husband Clyde; grandchildren, Scottie Triche, Colleen Thomassie, Trichel Melancon, Julie Triche and Collin Triche Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Jordan, Rhyan, Jace, Alece, Brennan, Lauren, Logan, Maria, Matthew and Bethany.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence H. Triche; parents, Henry Pitre Sr. and Eugenie Cretini Pitre; daughter, Marie Triche; brothers, August, Louis, Henry Jr., Eugene, Alex and Robert Pitre; sisters, Ophelia Pitre and Delphine Cheramie; and grandson, Brad Michael Triche.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off and a member of the Sacred Heart Ladies Altar Society.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, November 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with mass to follow. She will be buried at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano, La.
