December 8, 2011Irvin “Vin” Bruce, 80, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 1:58 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2011.
Mr. Bruce was a U.S. Army veteran, a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus, and a member of Crusin Cajuns, the VFW and American Legion. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Lillian Bruce; son, Wayne (Denise) Bruce; daughters, Cindy (Mitchell) Guidry and Linda (Tom) Ellender; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Adrien and Jane Bruce.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
