February 19, 2012Ismay “Granny” Cheramie Theriot, 84, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died Tuesday, Feb. 14, 2012.
Mrs. Theriot was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
She is survived by her sons, Donny (Dorothy) Theriot and Stephen Jr. Theriot; daughter, Sherry Theriot; brother, Charlie Cheramie; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen Theriot Sr.; parents, Rudolph and Augusta Cheramie; sons, Glenn and Joey Theriot; brothers, Johnny, Alex, Albert, George and Leonard Cheramie; and sisters, Rosa Doucet, Sedone and Rosalie Boudreaux, Leonise Cheramie, Lenore Mosley and Irene Raymond.
Burial was at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
