James “Jimmy” A. Brodnax, 79, a native of Bastrop, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014.
He is survived by his daughters, Ava Brodnax, Cindy (Bo) Hollis, Sharonn Wilson and Jessica (Asa) Williams; sons, Kevin (Linda) Wilson, Lonnie (Doris) and Randy Mitcham, James (Julie) Brodnax and Phillip Randolf; 13 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Hattie Brodnax; wife, Mary Brodnax; brother, J.W. Brodnax; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
