James “June” Lagarde Jr., 62, a native of Terrebonne and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, July 20.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Adams Lagarde of Houma; his mother, Eula Mae Westly Lagarde of Houma; one son, James Lagarde III of Houma; one stepson, Akeem Boykin of Houma; two daughters, Patricia Lagarde Green and husband, Richard, and Sharon Lagarde, both of Houma; one stepdaughter, Brittany Davis of Houma; two sisters, Vera Lagarde Harris and Gwendolyn Lagarde Chapman, both of Houma; and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Lagarde Sr.; and one brother, Wilford Lagarde.
He was Baptist and a member of the Union Benevolent Society.
He was buried at Union Benevolent Cemetery.
Gertrude Geddes Willis Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
