Nicholls names new president

Jane Roberts, 80, a native and resident of Houma, died on Tuesday, November 7.
Ms. Roberts worked at Bayou Delight Restaurant for almost 30 years, she retired at 79 years old. She enjoyed cutting grass, feeding wild birds and stray cats. She loved shopping every week with her daughter Robin. She also loved looking out her kitchen window, waiting for her son, Roland to blow his horn as he passed by.
She is survived by her sons, Fay Portier, Jr and Roland Roberts; daughters, Christine Bourg and husband, Paul, Arlene Franko and husband, Jack, and Robin Stevens and husband, John; sister, Opal Marcel; sisters-in-law, Mary Linda and Veronica Arceneaux; grandchildren, Brittany, Angelica , Alexander (Trena) Boudwin, and Ryan Roberts; great-grandchild, Skylar Boudwin.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Heritage Manor for their kindness, care, and loving support and to St. Catherine’s Hospice.
