Jeanne Rita Hebert Boudreaux, a native and resident of Houma, died Friday, July 6, 2007 at 10:32am.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Joseph “Joe” P. Boudreaux; two sons, Barry P. Boudreaux, and wife his Sheila, and Mark J. Boudreaux and wife his Jill; one daughter, Karen A. Boudreaux Voisin; one sister, Dorothy “Dot” Hebert Young; and four grandchildren, Joshua Voisin, Stephan Boudreaux, Claire Boudreaux and Collin Boudreaux.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Hebert Sr. and Gertrude Chauvin Hebert; three brothers, Howard F. Hebert Jr., Roy Hebert and Donald Hebert; and one sister, Genevieve Hebert Cosse.

Jeanne was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister. She was a devoted homemaker and a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former employee of Southern Bell Telephone Co. and Western Union Telegraph Co.

She is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2 in Houma, La.
