Jeanne Foret “Mary Jane” Mayet, 82, a native of Raceland, La., and resident of Mathews, La., died Saturday, Nov. 9, 2013.
She is survived by her sisters, Doris Pearson, Mildred Anderson, Nellie Hernandez and Julie Ann Townsend; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Mayet; parents, Etienne and Jeanne Foret; adoptive parents, Emile and Theresa Foret; sons, Robert and David Mayet; daughter, Marion Mayet; brothers, Felix and Abby Foret; and sister, Gladys Anderson.
Burial is at Holy Savior Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
