Jearmie Paul “Bree” Bourg Sr., 35, a native of Montegut, LA. and resident of Chauvin, LA., died Sunday, March 4, 2007.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Religious service will be at noon Wednesday at the hall, with burial in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Montegut.
He is survived by his wife, Tangi Authement Bourg; his mother, Claudia Prosperie; his grandmother, Theresa Prosperie; one son, Jearmie P. Bourg Jr.; one daughter, Stevi A. Bourg; two brothers, John Jr. and Shawn Bourg and wife, Donna; three sisters, Mary Ann Use’ and husband, Donald Sr., Chystal Billiot and Loucinda Prosperie; his father-in-law, Reggie Authement Sr.; three godchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John N. Bourg Sr.; and his mother-in-law, Gail Carlos Authement.
He was a commercial fisherman and was a Christian.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family for funeral expenses are preferred.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
