April 11, 2012Jefferson “Jeff” Alario, 89, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, April 1, 2012.
Mr. Alario was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Alice Alario; daughter, Sandra Alario; brothers, James and Robert Alario; sisters, Gladys Theriot, Rosemary Blackwell and Vivian Friouyx; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan and Victoria Alario; and sister, Hilda Turnage.
Visitation will be 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
