Jeffery “Jeff” England, 74, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Labadieville, La., died at his home Saturday, Feb. 23.

He is survived by his wife, Gracie Lawrence England of Labadieville; sons, Reginald England and wife, Shctora, of Arlington, Tx., Graylin England and wife, Kendra, Wendell England and wife, Tashaiy, all of Labadieville and Myron England and wife, Trinice, of New Orleans, La.; sister, Edna E. Williams of Fort Worth, Tx.; brother, Norman England of Fort Worth; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Jeffery and Edna England; and sisters, Merian England, Nora Lee E. Carter, Mildred England and Fannie England.

He was a retired assistant principal of Assumption Parish School System with 34 years of service, a retired Army veteran and a member of Southern University Alumni.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 1, at Bright Morning Star Baptist Church in Napoleonville with a religious service at 11 a.m. He will be buried at the church cemetery.

Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Napoleonville is in charge of the arrangements.
