Lafourche Council agrees to counter U.S. Flood Control’s bill

Jeremy Lon Walker, 27, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died Saturday, February 10, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Prayer service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Jerry Lon Walker Jr. and Rebecca Scott Walker of Brookland, Texas; his mother and stepfather, Roxanne Hoffpauir Lirette and Kerry Lirette of Houma; one son, Jacorion Walker of Brookland; two daughters, Jakiarra Walker and Victoria Walker of Brookland; two brothers, Kerry Lirette Jr. of Houma and Jerry Lon Walker III of Brookland; one sister, Wendy Walker of Houma; one stepbrother, Johnathan Spoon of Atlanta, GA.; one stepsister, Tracy Saade of Jasper, Texas; and his grandparents, Jerry Lon Walker Sr. and Audrey Dione Walker of Brookland, Rivern Murphy and Adam Meyers of Houma.
