Jerry J. Domangue Jr., 54, a native and resident of Chauvin, LA., died at 10:50 a.m. Saturday, February 24, 2007.
Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Tuesday at the Knight of Columbus Hall in Chauvin. Mass will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Chauvin, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by his wife, Kathy Neil Domangue; one son, Jerry “Bubba” J. Domangue III and wife, Tyne Kay Rodrigue Domangue; one daughter, Angie Domangue Chaisson; three sisters, Vanessa Domague Pellegrin and husband, Leroy Pellegrin, Judy Domangue Folse and husband, Mike Folse, and Jessica Domangue Dupre and husband, Cleveland “Nut” Dupre; and two beautiful grandchildren, Devin Chandler Chaisson and Rikki Rayne Domangue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry J. Domangue Sr. and Florence Smith Domangue; his grandparents, Tores Sr. and Mary Domangue, Sylvester “Tive” and Bernice Marcel Lirette and David Smith; and one sister, Tina Marie Domangue.
He was a die-hard Saints fan.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family to help with funeral expenses are preferred.
He was Baptist.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of arrangements.
