Jerry Paul “Goon” Lajaunie Sr., 56, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Monday, Sept. 28, at 12:35 p.m.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry “J.P.” Lajaunie Jr. and wife Debbie “Debra Ann”, and Wallace Lajaunie; two daughters, Tabitha “Tuddy” Lajaunie and fiancé Randall Beebe Jr., and Samantha “Sam” Lajaunie and companion Kenneth Lalonde; and 11 grandbabies, Ariel “Toots”, Jade, Alyssa “Chunk”, Kadaria “Punky”, Jenna Lajaunie, Destiny “Tee”, Mia, Sammi “MeMe” Lodrigue, Dayton “Bubba” Beebe, Tayler “Tay Tay” Marcel, and Stormy “Papa Swinger” Cameron.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Lelious Rita Lajaunie Stuard; grandmother, Thelma Liner Breaux; and one grandson, Gage Lajaunie.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. The funeral service will be Saturday at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Outlaw Cemetery in Arkansas.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
