Houma man leads police on chase

Joel J. Chiasson, 43, a resident and native of Houma, La., died Monday, Dec. 11, 2006.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. funeral time Thursday at Samart Funeral Home in Houma. Burial will be in the Magnolia Cemetery in Houma.
He is survived by his wife, Carol Duplantis; his mother, Wilma Klingman Chiasson; his nephews, Kris Bernard, Kyle Bernard, and Chad Bailey; his niece, Britney Bailey; his brothers, Lester and Rene Chiasson, and one sister, Evelyn Bailey.
He is preceded in death by his father, Warren Frances Chiasson.
Samart Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
