EPA/BP say oily solid waste is not hazardous

John Joseph Danos, 72, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died on Saturday, July 17, 2010.
Mr. Danos was a loving husband and father, and educator in Lafourche Parish Schools for 38 years, a cattleman and loyal friend. He served on the Lafourche Parish Council and Lafourche Parish School Board. He was also a 4th degree Knight and served as Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council #3150.
He is survived by his wife, Anna Jane Callais Danos; son, John (Erin) Danos Jr.; daughters, Margaret, Annette and Meagan Danos; sister, Shirley Balser; and five grandchildren, Lauren and Cydney Soignet, Emily, Isabelle and Luke Danos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Donatien and Nola Danos; one brother, Dan Danos; and one sister, Rita Callais.
He is buried at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery.
