John Patrick Rushing, 53, a native of New Iberia, La., and resident of Chauvin, La., died Saturday, March 16, 2013.
He is survived by his companion, Paulette LeJeune; brother, Kenneth Rushing; and sister, Melanie (Ricky) Rodrigue.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Theresa Rushing; brother, Wayne Rushing; and sister, Lisa Callahan,
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, March 22, at Chauvin Funeral Home. Burial will be at Southdown Cemetery. (Chauvin)
