Joseph S. Gauthier, 76, a native and resident of Thibodaux, LA., died Thursday, January 11, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Monday at St. Joseph Co-Cathedral in Thibodaux. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
He is survived by one son, Michael Gauthier; two daughters, Mary Gauthier and Michelle Heinz and husband, Mike; two sisters, Sandra Bacas and Jennie Theresa Alexandry; and three grandchildren, Michael, Nicholas and Emily Heinz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jennie Coco Alexandry and stepfather, Jake Alexandry; and his grandparents, Veronica BonFiglio Coco and Salva Tore “Sam” Coco.
He was a Army veteran of the Korean War.
Landry’s Funeral Home in Thibodaux is in charge of arrangements.
