Joseph “Joe” Wagner Harrer Sr., 84, a native of Chapel Hill, S.C., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 6:49 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Bagwell Harrer; son, Joseph Harrer Jr.; daughter, Anne (Michael) Ledet; sister, Marcella Congdon; four grandchildren, Erin (Steven) Louviere, Rachel Harrer, and Michael and Jeffrey Ledet; and two great-grandchildren, Robert and William Louviere.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustave and Florence Wagner Harrer; one brother, Gustave Harrer; and one sister, Laeticia Snow.
He is buried at Chalkhead Baptist Cemetery in Ozark, Ala. (Landry’s)
