Joseph Lee Johnson, 75, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Gibson, La., died Thursday, May 30, 2013.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Johnson; son, Irving Pete; brother, August Johnson; sisters, Hilda Washington and Essie (Elijah Sr.) Johnson; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Sr. and Elizabeth Johnson; brothers, Andrew Jr., Alexander Sr. and John Sr. Johnson; and sister, Eula Carter.
Burial is at Triumph Baptist Church Cemetery in Gibson. (Community)
