Josephine Melancon Naquin, 91, a native and resident of Labadieville, La., died Saturday July 14, 2007, at 5:15 p.m.
She is survived by one son, Carroll Naquin and wife his Connie; one sister, Shirley Melancon; one sister-in-law, Mathilde Thibodeaux; four grandchildren, Daren Naquin, Lindsay, Kyle and Cassidy Naquin; and numerous relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon A. Naquin Jr.; her parents, Elphage and Myrtilia Melancon; and two sisters, Ann Gautreaux and her husband Norman and Dorothy Thibodeaux and her husband Albert.
Josephine was a devout Catholic.
Visitation is Tuesday, July 17, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Labadieville. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Landry Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of the arrangements.
