September 14, 2011Judy Collins Duet, 68, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died at 8:33 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011.
Ms. Duet was a retired teacher at LCO and an administrator for PALS. She was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow.
She is survived by her sons, Clint (Shelly) and Rickey Duet; daughter, Vicki (Al) Capro; brothers, Kirby Jr. and Buddy Collins; sister, Patricia Culpepper; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirby Sr. and Eula Collins; son, Eric Duet; and great-grandson, Jude Bouziga.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 13 at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano and 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14 at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
