Judy Marie Plaisance Terrebonne, 79, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Galliano, La., died Jan. 2, 2016.
Mrs. Terrebonne was a hard-working, fun-loving woman who made her opinions known, a good cook who loved preparing holiday meals and was always first to lend anyone in need a helping hand.
She is survived by her children, Carroll Jr. (Rochelle), Nanette, Eric (Sheri Murray), Jill Marie (Gilbert) Dubois, Tommie (Elizabeth Ann Adams), Paul (Denise Chiasson) and Camilla (Harold III) Gassenberger; 15 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren with two on the way; brother, Dudley Plaisance; and sisters, Eliska Plaisance, Jackie Pitre, Loredia Terrebonne, Amie Duet, and Lovenia Teller.
A Memorial Mass is set for 9 a.m. tomorrow, Jan. 8, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to St. Jude’s Research Hospital in Mrs. Terrebonne’s name.
