Julia C. Toups, 90, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Cut Off, La., died Friday, May 1, at 3:40 p.m.
She is survived by her sons, Bobby Toups and William Toups; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Appolinaire Toups Jr.; parents, Placide Callais and Alice Eymard Callais; daughter, Marion Wood; brothers, Nelson Callais and Cleo Callais; sisters, Sara Esponge, Therese Danos, Elma Bourgeois, Orelia Danos, Justilia Charpentier and Inez Adams; and two grandchildren.
She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was a member of the Ladies Altar Society and choir.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 6, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Houma in Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
