Kenneth “Buck” Wayne Harris Sr., 47, a native of Jackson, Miss., and resident of Houma, LA., died at 12:05 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2007.

Visitation will be from 4 to 10 p.m. today and from 8 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at Chauvin Funeral Home. Religious service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with burial in St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.


He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Aucoin Harris of Houma; his mother, Janice Boudreaux Harris of Bourg, LA.; two daughters, Benita Dominguez and husband, Patrick, of Angie, LA. and Felicia Naquin and husband, Lance, of Montegut, LA.; three sisters, Linda Duplantis and husband, Eric, of Napoleonville, LA., Sandra Allemand and husband, Craig, and Pamela Matherne and husband, Lonnie, of Bourg; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Harris; one son, Kenneth Harris Jr.; and his grandparents, Wilfred and Emma Boudreaux and Ambers and Ruby Harris.

He was a production operator with Eagle Consulting.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
