Kerry “Big Boy” James Robert, 45, a native of Stonewall, Miss. and a resident of Houma, LA., died Tuesday, March 13, 2007.
Visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 16, 2007 at Samart Funeral Home in Houma and from 9 to 11 a.m., in which a mass will be held, Saturday, March 17, 2007 at The Lord’s House of Refuge at 7447 Grand Caillou Road in Houma. Burial will be in the Grand Caillou Baptist Church Cemetery.
He is survived by his parents, Alscies Roberts Jr. and Mary Deion Joiner; his sisters, Kelona Sanders of Stonewall and Cotina Dearman of Quitman, Miss.; and a godchild, Shemika Gonzales of Florida.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Alscies Sr. and Albertine Billiot Roberts and Ruffin and Eva Francis Deion; and his sisters, Sylvia Ann and Marie Ann Roberts.
Samart Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
