L.J. Lovell, 57, a native and resident of Theriot, La., died Wednesday, June 8, 2011.
Mr. Lovell was a commercial fisherman and a dedicated husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He was a member of Dularge House of Praise.
He is survived by his wife, Charlene Lovell; sons, Slade (Chantelle) and Shea (Danielle) Lovell; daughter, Christie (Jessie Jr.) Guidry; brother, Bradford Lovell; sisters, Anna Theriot, Carol Bergeron, Linda Pierre, Glenda Verdin, Patricia Blackwell, Dolores Lacoste, Mavis Schexnayder and Ruby Dehart; seven grandchildren; and mother-in-law, Willa Babin.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Nora Lovell; brothers, Paul, Leroy and Atlas Lovell; sisters, Eulamae Lovell and Jacinitha Romero; and father-in-law, Donald Babin.
Burial was at St. Eloi Cemetery. (Falgout)
