Larry Jerome Hollingsworth, 50, a native of Gary, Ind., and resident of Houma, La., died Wednesday, April 6, 2011.
Mr. Holingsworth was Baptist and a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church and a retired U. S. Marine veteran. He was employed by Helix International of Texas.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Robinson Hollingsworth; son, Larry Denson; daughter, Doninque, Whitney, Reavon and Serenity; sister, LaToya Hunter; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Silas and Lurena Shufford Hollingsworth; and grandparents, Elcana & Hattie Jones Shufford and Emma & Joseph Hollingsworth.
He is buried at Bell Baptist Benevolent Cemetery. (Community)
