Laurel Thompson

Laurel Lemieux Thompson, 81, a native of Canada and resident of Houma, La., died at 6 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 24, 2010.

She is survived by her sons, Michael (Kathie), Mitchell (Jeri) and Randy (fiancée Cindy Collins) Thompson; sister, Lynne Lemieux; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis E. Thompson; parents, Aldor Jaques and Genevieve Biron Lemieux; and brother, Paul Lemieux.
