Lena Rodrigue Percle, 78, a native and resident of Chackbay, LA., died at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2007.
Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay. Mass will be at noon Saturday at the church, with burial in the church cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Emile A. Percle Sr.; six sons, Ray Percle and wife, Mary, Emile Percle Jr., Patrick Percle and wife, Deidra “Dee”, Jessie Percle and wife, Denise, Ted Percle and wife, Michelle, and Ferrel Percle; five daughters, Merlin Clement and husband, Benny, Joanne Landry and husband, Foster, Pearl Percle and husband, Joe, June Ledet and companion, Stanley Yancey, and Betty Loupe and husband, Peter; two brothers, Roland “Red” Rodrigue and Johnny Rodrigue; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 16 step-grandchildren; and 19 step-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Felicien Rodrigue and Ursenia Borne Rodrigue; one brother, Wilvar Rodrigue; one sister, Loredia Mars; and one son-in-law, Hubert Ledet.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
