Residents raising a stink brings results on sewage odor

Leo Mingo, 63, a native of Cottonport, La., and resident of Morgan City, La., died at 5:47 a.m. Monday, July 25, 2011.
He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Catherine Mingo; sons, Leo Jr. (Patricia) Mingo and Lawrence Blackburn; brothers, Russell (Peggy), Michael (Edna) and Larry Mingo; 12 stepchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elgin and Rose Mingo; brothers, Lawrence, Adam and Merrick Mingo; and grandson, Michael Blackburn.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, July 29 at Mt. Pilgrim Baptist Church with services to follow. Burial will be at Morgan City Cemetery. (Jones)
