Lera “Lee Ray” Louis Deroche, 85, a native of Larose, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Thursday, Jan. 31, 2013.
Mr. Deroche was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Ruth Deroche; sons, Kenneth (Kathy), Jerry (Odile) and Daniel (Annette) Deroche; daughters, Tina Preston and Mary (Mark) Naquin; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gustave and Adelaide Deroche; brother, Rufus Deroche; and sisters, Alice LeBlanc, Cecile St. Amant and Eula Rodrigue.
Burial is at St. Louis Catholic Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
