July 21, 2011Leroy Francis, 55, a native of Lafayette, La., and resident of New Iberia, La., died at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, July 14, 2011.
He is survived by his son, Jermaine Francis; brother, Berwick Francis Sr.; sisters, Ella Hunt, Barbara Francis and Gertie Nicholas; one grandchild; and a host relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Francis and Aaron Francis; brother, Lee Edwards; and sisters, Azie Fields and Celestine Williams.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, July 30, 2011 at St. Peter United Methodist Church with burial at the church cemetery. (Jones)
