Leroy J. Westerman, 75, a native of Napoleonville, La., and a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 11:55 a.m. Tuesday, May 27.
He is survived by his wife, MaryAnn Benoit Westerman; son, Glenn Westerman and wife, Valerie Knight Westerman; daughters, Kim Westerman Adams and husband, Hugh Adams Jr., Jill Westerman Olivier and husband, Michael Olivier, and Amy Westerman Guidry and husband, Shanon Guidry; brothers, Russell Westerman and Roy Westerman; sisters, Lillie Webb, Geraldine Percle and Ella Mae Adams; grandchildren, Alicia Westerman, Cassie Scrivner, Ashley Matherne, Courtney Caldarera, Josh Caldarera, Huey “Tut” Adams, Matthew Adams, Tyler Adams, Sabrina A. Freeman, Benjamin Clement, Christopher Clement, Holly Frederick, Tommy “Boog” Frederick Jr., Lee Frederick, Dallas Guidry, Katelyn Guidry and Bryson Guidry; and great-grandchildren, Malorie and Jenna Scrivner, Olivia and Ashley Caldarera, Tessie and Hayden Adams, Conner Freeman, Hunter, Emma and Cade Clement, Alec Pitre, Karly and Kainan Henderson and Maddie Torbert.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Camille and Lillie Chamberlain Westerman; son-in-law, B.J. Clement Jr.; brothers, Roland, Camille “Snow” Jr. and Ridley Westerman; and great-grandchildren, Brianna Daigle, Cason Harriss and Luke and Logan Constant.
The family would like to give special thanks to Thibodaux Regional Hospital, St. Joseph Hospice, Dr. Soignet and staff and Thibodaux Home Health.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, May 29, at Thibodaux Funeral Home and 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday, May 30, at St. John Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. He will be buried at the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
