Leslie Carol Richard, 89, a resident and native of Labedieville, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2006.

Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. funeral time Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2006 at St. Philomena Church in Labedieville with burial in the church cemetery.

He is survived by his daughters, Cherie Martinez and Christy Coco, and 2 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Olivia Roger Richard; his parents, Alphonse and Julia Thibodaux Richard; 5 brothers, Walter “White”, Fernand, Walta, Sidney, and Theophile Richard; 5 sisters, Emily Albert, Toley Bertrand, Inez Roussell, Leah Blank, and Lizzie Hebert.

Landry’s Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
