Lillian V. Boura, 60, a native of Golden Meadow and resident of Galliano died Saturday June 9, 2007 at 12:30pm.
She is survived by her husband, Murphy J. Boura, Sr.; six sons, Ernest, Murphy, Jr., Scott, Frank, Jason, and Jesse Boura; one daughter, Veronica “Nene” Boura; one brother, Wallace Bruce, Jr.; two sisters, Flo Adams and June Guill; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. And Mrs. Wallace Bruce, Jr.; one brother, Roland Bruce, Sr.; one sister, Irene Nelson.
Lillian was a devout Catholic who was a parishioner at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
She enjoyed puzzles, playing Boura, and spoiling her grandchildren.
She is buried at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Cemetery in Golden Meadow.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
