Joseph Terranova, Sr., 83, a native of New Orleans and resident of Des Allemands, La died Wednesday June 6, 2007 at 2:15am.
He is survived by his two sons, Joseph Junior and Paul Terranova; two daughters, Pauline Terranova Folse and Dianne Terranova Scariano; one brother Vickie Terranova; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Delatte Terranova; his parents Nunzio and Lena Radossa Terranova; two brothers, Henry and Phillip Terranova; two sisters, Frances Grice and Rosie Borches.
Joseph was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Gertrude Catholic Church. He was an Army Veteran who served his country during World War II.
Joseph’s funeral will be held at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Des Allemands, Friday, June 8, 2007 at 11:00am, with the burial following the mass at St. Gertrude Catholic Church Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
