Lillie Verdin Cressey, 63, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, January 18.
She is survived by her brothers, Albert (Audrey) Verdin of Houma, and Alvin (Katherine) Verdin of Lake Charles, La.; and sisters, Millie Verdin, Betty Verdin and Gail Verdin all of Houma.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Alphonse Cressey; parents, Albert and Leola Dickerson Verdin; and grandparents, Millie Dickerson and Coleman Dickerson, and Celia Verdin and Joseph Verdin.
She was retired from the Terrebonne Parish School Board. She was Catholic and a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Thursday, January 22, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church with the funeral services to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Community Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
