Linberth “Birdie-B” Pitre, 78, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Friday, June 6, at 9:30 p.m.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy “Dot” Guidry Pitre; son, Lindsey Pitre; brothers, Norman Pitre and Anatole Pitre; and sisters, Lorine Guidry and Rita Savoie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nichless and Lydia Pierce Pitre, son, Toby Pitre; brother, Lawrence Pitre; and sister Irene Ledet.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 10, at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home in Cut Off with the religious service to follow. He will be buried at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Cut Off.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
