Linda Gisclair Bruce, 59, a native and resident of Galliano, La., died Tuesday, Jul 17, 2007, at 5:00 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Freddie Bruce; three sons, Michael, Eric, and Jessie Bruce; one daughter, Karen Bruce; one brother, Lester Bruce; five sister, Carrie Lou, Audrey Mae, Theresa, and Gertie Gisclair, and Edith Cheramie; seven grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Leoncia Duet Gisclair; one son, Charles “Chuckie” Bruce; four brothers, Cleo, Norman, Claude, and Ivan Gisclaire; and two grandchildren, Richard and Kelly Bruce.
Linda was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano.
Visitation is Thursday, July 19, 2007, from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday, July 20, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is Cut Off, La., with the funeral to follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Galliano. She will be buried in Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off is in charge of the arrangements.
