Linto J. Rebstock, 86, a native and resident of Golden Meadow, La., died Saturday, October 25, at 10:30 a.m.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Myrtle D. Rebstock; sons, Ray Rebstock and wife Barbara and Billy Rebstock; brother, Joseph “Joe” Rebstock; sister, Inez Cheramie; seven grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Whitney and Blanche Rebstock; daughter, Faye Guidry; brother, Morris Rebstock; grandson, Jamie Rebstock; and great-granddaughter, Lacey Guidry.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and a member of the V.F.W. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, October 27, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home of Cut Off, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
